Founder and Educator – Philip Baillie

Philip Baillie is the Managing Director of Clear View Tutoring.

Philip is a highly qualified and experienced leader in education who believes in academic coaching for the whole student, guiding students to succeed not just at school but in the future in both further education and in their careers. He holds BSc with Honours in Pure Mathematics from Aberdeen University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Secondary Education from Strathclyde University.

With a career spanning over 20 years, in education and educational leadership, Philip has worked in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and Australia, providing educational and pedagogical leadership nationally and internationally, in both private and state schools.

 

Knowledge and Experience

It is the depth and breadth of subject knowledge and experience on offer that differentiates the Clear View Tutoring team from other private tutoring options.

By aligning the highly skilled qualifications and industry experience of each tutor, Clear View Tutoring provides a custom fit for every student, whether at primary school, secondary school, TAFE, or university level.

All Clear View tutors hold specific qualifications in excess of a Bachelor of Education in general secondary or primary teaching. Each tutor holds a three or four year degree in their subject area of specialisation.

For example, Clear View tutors delivering mathematics, will have a degree in a mathematical field in addition to a postgraduate or a Master’s qualification and education experience within that area of Queensland. Many have a masters in their field in addition to their teaching qualification, some even up to a post-doctorate qualification.
